One of the outstanding traits of the global PLM ecosystem are all of the relationships that exist between independent software vendors, enterprise solution providers, system integrators, consultancies, subject matter experts, value added resellers, and acquired companies.
On top of this, consider all of the user communities, industrial organizations, trade associations, and conference events (live or virtual) in which these providers organize, participate in or financially support. All of these synergistic relationships have played a central role in fueling decades of rapid innovation across the PLM industry that has benefited the global economy.
As a result, thousands of partnerships, alliances, communities, coalitions, and collaborations exist across the PLM economy in a vast interconnected and interdependent global network. This includes hundreds of business startups, mergers, acquisitions, and dissolutions over decades. Up until now there has been no easy way for solution providers, channel partners, working professionals, industry followers, job seekers, or investors to understand much less navigate through all of these relationships that are constantly changing.
The PLM Atlas website will soon address this need by offering the capability to specify an organization and visualize its relationships with others in customized network graphs and PLM Atlas Maps©. Until then, visitors may currently view a list of ecosystem relationships, including partners and affiliated or acquired companies, of individual entries returned in directory search results.
